The Who, What, Why and How of Wills and Estate Plans (Postponed)
Thursday, November 4, 2021, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm
Land Alliance Office at Planting Fields Historic State Park
1395 Planting Fields Road, Oyster Bay, NY 11771

Did you know that two out of three adults do not have a will or an estate plan? Much of this is due to the myths that making a will is expensive or difficult and that wills and estate plans are only for the wealthy.

We all need a will and an estate plan. Whether you are 18 or 80 years old and even if your estate is an apartment, a car, a bank account and/or a retirement account.

Join us on Thursday, October 14th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm for a special presentation by Land Alliance members Patricia C. Marcin and Joseph T. La Ferlita – Trust and Estate Attorneys with Rivkin Radler – to learn about wills and estate plans.

Patricia and Joe will talk about the importance of having a will and updating your will to ensure that your wishes are executed as you intended. They will also discuss the benefits of estate plans and how they help ensure that your plans for passing down your lifetime assets are carried out, including how you can create a lasting legacy in the community.
