Many of us do not connect our yards with our drinking water supply, but the chemicals we use on our lawns and gardens wash with rain and storm water into our streams, ponds, reservoirs and deep groundwater wells in measurable amounts. Connecticut College Environmental Studies Student Juliette Lee Joins Land Alliance as Summer Intern
Juliette just completed her freshman year at Connecticut College where she is majoring in Environmental Studies. Prior to Connecticut College, she attended Deerfield Academy where she was active on the Sustainability Action Plan Committee and was an Environmental Proctor – serving as a liaison between the Environmental Committee and the student body.
