Sophia Stoma Joins the Land Alliance 2026 O’Neil Conservation Steward Program The Land Alliance is delighted to welcome Sophia to the 2026 O’Neil Conservation Steward Program. She is one of four exceptional interns selected to participate in the Land Alliance’s college internship program, made possible through the generous support of the Joyce C. and William C. Sophia’s goal is to use art to educate Long Islanders about sustainability and conservation. She has a strong interest in marine and wetland ecology and local oyster reproduction. About the William C. and Joyce C. O’Neil Conservation Steward Program Thanks to the Joyce C. and William C. O’Neil Charitable Trust, North Shore Land Alliance launched a formal internship program.
