This June, Oyster Bay-based artist Nicole Titus opens “Shifting Seasons” at the Humes Preserve Education Annex.
We invite you to the exhibition's opening reception on Friday, June 5th, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Please RSVP for the opening by emailing us at claudia@northshorelandalliance.org.
The solo exhibition features vibrant abstract paintings rooted in her two years of wandering the preserve’s trails. Nicole's bold, expressive work captures Humes’ native plants, wildlife and shifting light, from spring’s first blooms to winter’s stillness, through vivid, color-driven abstraction. Known for her intuitive process and deep observation of the natural world, Titus calls the show “a visual love letter to the preserve’s rhythms and resilience.
