Volunteer to Pull Mile-a-Minute

Humes Preserve

Help remove mile-a-minute (Persicaria perfoliata) from the meadow at Humes Preserve. This invasive vine quickly spreads, but with your help, we can remove it and allow native plants to thrive in the meadow. Lend a hand and make a meaningful difference for the health of this important meadow habitat.

Make sure to wear long sleeves and long pants to protect against the small thorns on the vines. Gloves will be provided if needed.
