Hofstra University Sustainability Student Josh Grossman Joins Land Alliance as Summer Intern

Josh grew up right on Long Island and is studying Sustainability Studies at Hofstra University. He will be entering his senior year at Hofstra this fall, and will be receiving his B.S in Sustainability Studies next spring.

He hopes to one day be able to live and work on Long Island in order to make his home a better place for the future.

Josh is proficient in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and will be helping the Land Alliance with mapping projects, ordinance review and a variety of stewardship efforts. He knows how to roll up his sleeves and get the job done. He was also tremendously helpful with the opening of the Wawapek Preserve.
