North Shore Land Alliance is Pleased to Welcome Amanda Furcall As One of Our 2015 Summer Interns. Amanda’s skills and experience in designing and conducting research studies, invasive species management, biological surveys and environmental education have made her an ideal fit for both managing native planting areas and invasives in the meadow at Hope Goddard Iselin Preserve and partnering with Becca Robbins, another intern, to develop a management plan for James Preserve. Amanda completed her Bachelor of Science degree in conservation biology at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in spring 2013 and her Masters of Public Administration, with a Concentration in Nonprofit Management, last year.
