In this walk about tour of the Humes Japanese Stroll Garden, we will view and identify many varieties of bamboo – clumping and running – and discuss strategies for controlling running bamboo and methods for selecting and growing proper varieties of clumping bamboo desirable as landscape plantings.

Advance registration required:
Free for Stroll Garden Members (Use code MEM at checkout.) and $15 for non-members.
After you have registered, but before the event, we will email you to confirm your attendance and provide more detailed information.  If you are unable to attend, please contact us at 516-922-1028 or info@northshorelandalliance.org, as this will help us register those on the waiting list.

Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Sundays: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
