It’s been almost two years since the dam broke at Stump Pond in Blydenburgh County Park. After the pond drained, it revealed the Nissequogue River flowing through a new successional plant community that has arisen on the mud flats. Join the Land Alliance on a walk around the pond perimeter to see this incredible landscape containing scores of beautiful plant species and animals taking advantage of the new environment.

This event is free, but advance registration is required. Meeting location will be emailed to registrants.
After you have registered, but before the event, we will email you to confirm your attendance and provide more detailed information.  If you are unable to attend, please contact us at 516-922-1028 or info@northshorelandalliance.org, as this will help us register those on the waiting list.
