    Olivia Larocchia – 2022 O’Neil Conservation Steward

    Olivia Larocchia Joins the Land Alliance 2022 O’Neil Conservation Steward Program. We are pleased to have Olivia join our 2022 class of O’Neil Conservation Stewards. Olivia Larocchia is a senior at Binghamton University, graduating with a BS in Environmental Science. She is deeply committed to environmental stewardship and to protecting the planet so that people, plants, and wildlife can thrive both now and in the future. Following this summer, Olivia will continue her education at Binghamton University, where she is pursuing an MS in Sustainable Communities, which she will complete in May 2023. We look forward to working with Olivia this summer and supporting her continued development as an emerging environmental professional. About the William C. and Joyce C.     Land Alliance Welcomes Meg Rumplick to the 2022 O’Neil Conservation Steward Program Meg Rumplick, an Islip native, is a junior at Vassar College majoring in Environmental Studies focusing on Plant Biology and Geography. Meg has a keen interest in preserving the environment. After working at Vassar’s ecological preserve and herbarium last semester, Meg knew working for the Land Alliance would be the perfect way to prepare for a future in conservation, while familiarizing herself with Long Island’s beautiful landscapes.   About the William C. and Joyce C.     Lily Fallar – 2022 O’Neil Conservation Steward

    Land Alliance Welcomes Lily Fallar to their 2022 O’Neil Conservation Steward Program. After considering many qualified candidates, we are pleased to welcome Lily Fallar to the 2022 class of O’Neil Conservation Stewards. Lily Fallar is a rising junior at Binghamton University. Lily is majoring in environmental science (with a concentration in earth science and natural resources) and is minoring in health and wellness.     Emily Power – 2021 O’Neil Conservation Steward

    Emily Power Joins the Land Alliance 2021 O’Neil Conservation Steward Program We are delighted to welcome Emily to our 2021 O’Neil Conservation Steward program. Emily Power is a native New Yorker and a rising junior studying Conservation Biology at Middlebury College. She joins the Land Alliance with experience in environmental activism, natural sciences, farming, and education. After recently completing an internship focused on limiting greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture in her college town, Emily is thrilled to follow her passion for protecting natural spaces and wildlife while continuing to develop her skills with the North Shore Land Alliance!     Danielle Moore – 2021 O’Neil Conservation Steward

    Danielle Moore Joins the Land Alliance 2021 O’Neil Conservation Steward Program We are delighted to welcome Danielle to our 2021 O’Neil Conservation Steward program. Danielle is currently a senior Sustainability Studies major at Stony Brook University. Last summer she worked in Colorado with the Rocky Mountain Conservancy and the US Forest Service performing trail maintenance, removing invasive species and building new trails.
