Experience the thoughtful work of Jan Guga at the Hut in Humes Preserve from June 20 to July 17. Stop by during open hours to explore his work, which embodies quiet patience and a deep appreciation for nature’s rhythms.  Through his images, Jan invites us to pause, observe, and reimagine the natural world.

A Sea Cliff native, Jan’s passion for photography began at age eight. While serving in the U.S. Army, he documented marine life in the South China Sea with a Canon SLR and underwater camera. After returning home, he spent 25 years photographing the natural beauty of the North Shore.
