Entomologist Dr. Jody Gangloff-Kaufmann is bringing back her popular program, Ticks and Mosquitoes: Avoid Their Bites! As the warm weather of spring rolls in, ticks are becoming more active. Cornell University’s Dr. Jody Gangloff-Kaufmann will address the ticks in our area (including our nature preserves), their biology and the diseases they carry, and how to protect yourself and others from being bitten by both ticks and mosquitoes. She will also address how to manage mosquitoes in the home landscape safely.
