DIY Workshop: How to Make Holiday Wreaths &
Other Decorations from Foraged Goods
Friday, December 5, 2025, 3 pm
Land Alliance Headquarters, Humes Preserve

Led by Darcy McDowell, Associate Director of Stewardship and Greenhouse Manager

Join us at the Land Alliance Headquarters for a festive and DIY workshop! Learn how to craft your very own holiday wreath using fresh greens foraged from our beautiful preserve. Darcy will also demonstrate how to create other charming foraged decorations like garlands and centerpieces to add a personal touch to your holiday décor.

Each participant will receive a wreath form made from invasive vines, which were carefully cut and harvested from our preserves, along with all the natural greens needed to decorate your wreath.

Online registration will be available as the event date approaches. Sign up for emails to stay updated and receive registration details as the event approaches. Before the event, we will email you to confirm your attendance and provide more detailed information.  If you are unable to attend, please contact us, as this will help us register those on the waiting list.
