    Lectures, Seminars and Workshops Fungal Diversity Workshop & Mushroom Log Inoculation Demonstration Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM Education Annex, Humes Preserve 349 Oyster Bay Road, Mill Neck Led by Carter Rogan, North Shore Land Alliance Volunteer Coordinator and Stewardship Associate Discover the incredible diversity of fungi and learn about their unique life history and ecology. The program will feature a 30-40 minute lecture, followed by an interactive workshop where participants will create their very own mushroom log, which can grow lions mane, shiitake, or artist’s conk. Space is limited to 15 participants and the program is designed primarily for adults, though high school students are welcome to join as well Advance registration required! $25 Per Attendee. Once the event date approaches, we will follow up via email with all registrants to confirm their attendance and provide more details.  If you find that you’re unable to attend, please let us know so we can offer your spot to someone on the waiting list.
