Volunteer to Help Pull Mile-a-Minute

Cushman Woods Preserve, Locust Valley

The 7-acre meadow at Cushman Woods Preserve in Locust Valley is in the second season of its restoration. It was seeded with native grasses and wildflowers at the end of 2022 and it is coming in nicely. Unfortunately, the Mile a Minute is also coming back in patches, and we are looking for people to help remove it!

Everyone is welcome, but we ask participants to register in advance.

Advanced registration is required!  Before the event, but after you have registered, we will email you to confirm your attendance and provide more detailed information.  If you are unable to attend, please contact us at 516-922-1028 or [email protected], as this will help us register those on the waiting list.
