In 2008, North Shore Land Alliance established a formal volunteer program to help advance our local conservation work and educational activities. Since then, we’ve engaged more than 2,000 people of all ages to help protect and preserve our environment and steward hundreds of acres of land, while providing them meaningful, hands-on educational experiences.
We offer a wide range of conservation-focused activities. Volunteers lend a hand with habitat restoration, invasive species pulls, land stewardship and plant and wildlife monitoring. They also assist with events, provide office support and represent us at community events.
If you would like to volunteer, join or renew your membership or make a donation to help advance our conservation efforts, please visit our website or call 516-922-1028.
