The Shinnecock Kelp Farmers, a collective of six women of multiple generations who are members of the Shinnecock Indian Nation, are stewarding and sustainably harvesting kelp in eastern Long Island. Learn about how their efforts restore marine habitat, enhance water quality and lay the groundwork for local green jobs.
